If you are interested in enrolling at KIPP Chicago Schools for the 2026-2027 school year, please complete an Enrollment Interest Form below. Applications are required for all potential students NOT currently enrolled in a KIPP Chicago school.

The lottery for the 2026-27 school year will take place on February 2, 2026. On lottery day, students are selected for offers through a random, automated process, and families are notified of their admission status. You can read about our lottery process here.

  • You can submit an application in two easy ways:

    • Online: Via our Enrollment Interest Form on our Enroll page.
    • In person: Visit the main office of any KIPP Chicago school.

  • KIPP Chicago Schools are open to all students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

  • In order to participate in the student lottery on February 2, 2026, families must submit their application by 11:59 PM on February 1, 2026. All applications received after February 1 will still be accepted, but will be accepted on a rolling basis. If no seats remain available for a specific grade or campus, applications will be placed on a waitlist in the order they are received.

    If you are a current KIPP Chicago family, you do not need to submit a new application for the upcoming school year, unless you are enrolling a sibling who is not currently enrolled at KIPP Chicago. Families of current students will follow the re-enrollment process in the spring.

  • No, there are no academic or behavioral requirements for enrollment in kindergarten through 8th grade.

  • No, all KIPP Chicago Schools are no-cost, tuition-free, charter public schools.

  • KIPP Chicago Schools is a network of eight primary and middle schools across the West and South side of Chicago.
