Our KIPP Chicago events

Second Fridays at The Children’s Museum of Art and Social Justice

The museum was established to act as a voice for the disenfranchised and to be a resource for arts programming and education. Join us on the second Friday of each month to celebrate the art and expression of our KIPP students.

KIPP Talk

KIPP Talk is KIPP Chicago’s signature annual fundraiser. The event is a high impact evening showcasing KIPP students along with a substantive conversation with civic leaders. Previous KIPP Talk speakers have included author Malcolm Gladwell, Netflix founder and CEO Reed Hastings, former US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, and former US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

Philanthropic support for KIPP Chicago’s activities ensures that current and future KIPP students and alumni have the resources necessary to climb the mountain to and through college. By partnering with KIPP Chicago, individuals and organizations are making a difference in the lives of Chicago’s hardest working students, proving what is possible in public education, and setting an example for thousands more.
